Agent integrationsCodex integration

Give Codex a safe route from code to customer operations.

Connect the instanceof.ai MCP server to Codex and let it work with selected pages, forms, schedules and customer journeys under a dedicated credential.

Shipping the code is not the end of the customer journey.
From implementation to an operational result

Shipping the code is not the end of the customer journey.

Codex can prepare and verify business changes with MCP tools while server permissions keep unrelated resources outside the task.

Where it changes the work
01

Codex can build the flow that your customer will use

After the feature is ready, the page copy, intake form, booking type and test journey still need coordinated setup.

02

Implementation and operation become separate tickets

The developer explains the change, another person configures the product and both repeat the same verification in different systems.

03

The released experience can disagree with the code

A correct feature may still point to an old form, offer an invalid meeting type or publish copy that was never reviewed.

04

Give Codex selected operational tools and require evidence

Use the shared Codex MCP configuration, enable only the needed tools, keep writes reviewable and confirm the final public path with a synthetic record.

A connection designed for the role

Direct API access solves transport. It does not define responsibility.

A custom script can call an endpoint. instanceof.ai adds a discoverable tool catalog, resource boundaries, separate write permissions and one operational workspace.

Questions before you connect

What you should know before you connect.

Where can I configure the connection?

Codex supports Streamable HTTP MCP servers in the desktop app, CLI and IDE extension. Those clients share the MCP configuration for the same Codex host.

Can I require approval for writes?

Codex supports MCP tool approval settings. The instanceof.ai credential separately decides whether the requested write is authorized on the server.

Does Codex receive access to every workspace resource?

No. Select the exact resources and scopes for its connection. The server checks the current policy on every call.
